ADMINISTRATIVE FUNDS are for donors who want to support the Foundation’s normal operating expenses. Income from administrative funds is used to further the charitable purposes of the Foundation by supporting its operating/administrative expenses. The long-term goal of the Foundation is to be self-supportive relating to its operating budget.

Bernard H. Jones, Sr. Fund

Established in 2002 by the board of trustees. Income from this fund is to be used for operations of the Foundation.


Education Improvement Tax Credit Administration

Fund to track expenses and admin fees related to EITC scholarship processing. Does not include expenses that are fund development related.


Fiscal Sponsor Administration

Fund to Track administrative expenses and fiscal sponsor fees related to fiscal sponsorship activities. Does not include expenses related to fund development for fiscal sponsorship.


Fund Administration

Fund to track administrative expenses related to managing endowment and distribution funds of the Foundation. Does not include any fund development activities for various funds.


Fund Development Administration

Fund to track revenue and expenses related to fund development activities for all admin and program development.

This fund was created to track Marketing expenses of the Foundation. It is a subfund of Fund Development.


POISE Operating Endowment Fund

Established in 1996 by the Board of Trustees. For long-term operations of the Foundation.


Program Administration

Fund to track program administration expenses that do not fall under another program category. Does not include any activities related to fund development.


Strengthening Black Families

Fund to track revenues and expenses related to Strengthening Black Family initiatives. This includes any direct grantmaking related to SBF initiatives.
